Hats off to chef Pino and his team at Cioppino's who battled through a flood from the floors above at service on Saturday night - and still managed to keep open. Pino told Eater, "My staff was phenomenal, all patrons great except one table who called me over saying 'Food great but bad experience'! The building has had about 1 million dollars worth of damage, we are on our knees to clean up and still serve them and they left no tip!" Usually we'd say the customer is always right. Except on this occasion, when they are totally whangtastically wrong. [Eaterwire]
