Five hundred Vancouverites gathered on Friday at the Aquarium to celebrate aquatic conservation in style at the annual Toast to the Coast event, which raised over $100,000, all of which will directly support the Aquarium's conservation, research and education programs.
Twelve of the province's wineries were on hand pouring their best including Hillside, Mission Hill and a delicious sparkling rosé from Bella. Surprise hit of the evening was from the Delta with their 'gauntlet of salmon' - looks like the Vancouver Sun were on the money with their glowing review of their EBO restaurant in Burnaby. Dessert star of the night was Soirette Macaron and their almost-too-cute-to-eat seahorse cookies on a stick.
