Bearfoot & MARKET Switcheroo: Ice Bar & Champagne Sabering on Alberni

We were expecting big things when Whistler's Bearfoot Bistro came to town for one night only at MARKET by Jean-Georges. The award-winning team of host and showman Andre Saint-Jacques, talented chef Melissa Craig and manager Marc des Rosiers did not disappoint. Photographer Joern Rohde captured the action.
150 guests served, a 20 foot removal van was needed to bring 80 signature leather chairs, 12 leather bar stools, two large wine racks with 200 wine bottles, 100 leather-bound menus, 12 Canada Goose parkas, 150 boxes of hand-made chocolates by pastry chef Dominic Fortin,150 napkin rings, 1200 pieces of signature flatware and the sign from the entrance of the restaurant which was posted on a wooden structure on Alberni street. Plus! Eight cooks, ten front of house staff and one DJ.
