Gerhart Weitzel's Stollen is Back at Yew; Natural Wines at Salt Cellar Series

DOWNTOWN— The Four Seasons have officially kicked off the festive season by announcing that former Four Seasons Vancouver chef, Gerhart Weitzel, has once again stepped out of retirement and back into the kitchen to make his legendary Stollen. YALETOWN— The second annual CandyTown is set to go ahead this Saturday with Santa's North Pole located at Bill Curtis Square (behind Canadaline station). Take the kids to enjoy free horse ride carriages, a gift market, ice carving demo and Santa (who will be on hand till 6pm) and then it's time for rather more adult fun with the CandyTown self-guided cocktail tour from 6-9p.m. [Eaterwire]

GASTOWN— Natural wines are on the menu at the Salt Cellar Series next week as the team take "an inspiring journey through the movement of 'natural' wines, exploring the processes behind natural/biodynamic and organic wine movement, and some of the personalities and wines at the forefront."
