More themed shenanigans from the Shangri-La; fresh from their switcheroo with the Bearfoot Bistro for the night, tomorrow sees the launch of "1,001 Nights" which brings a taste of the Far and Middle East to chilly Vancouver until January 5.
The Xi-Shi Lounge will be hosting daily Middle Eastern-inspired afternoon teas from 11.30a.m. to 5p.m. for $38 per person. Once tea is over, the culinary theme moves to Lebanese cold and hot mezze platters along with entertainment from 5-7p.m from traditional sitar and oud players during the week, to a Middle Eastern jazz-fusion band and belly dancers on the weekends.
