Chef David Hawksworth: Chefs for Seals 'misinformed and hypocritical.'

Another of B.C.'s top chefs and sustainable seafood champions, David Hawksworth has stepped up to add his voice to the many speaking out against the USA 'Chefs for seals" Canadian seafood boycott. David emailed Eater to say:

I think those Chef's who've signed on to the "Chefs for Seals" initiative need to take a closer look at what they're supporting; their actions are misinformed and hypocritical, Canada's seal harvest is well-managed and sustainable, not to mention part of our indigenous culture.
