The date for the Vancouver Aquarium's annual Chowder Chowdown has been announced for November 20. Tickets usually sell out well in advance for the event which pairs craft beers with sustainable seafood chowders from 12 of the city's best chefs. Last year's winner of the public vote was Forage's Chris Whittaker with a Creamy Spot Prawn Chowder with Poached Egg and Smokey Chicharon. [Eaterwire]
