Hapa Izakaya Sustainable Shucking; Harvest Kitchen Party Early Bird Tickets

KITSILANO — Early bird tickets are available for A Growing Chefs! Harvest Kitchen Party on Sunday, October at Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts. This is the fourth Farms to Fork event. bringing together some of the city's most prominent chefs and mixologists and the region's best growers and producers for a night of  B.C. wine and beer pairings, cocktails, and tasting stations. WEST END — Robson Street Izakaya favourites, Hapa has launched a new oyster bar with a range of local Ocean Wise oysters for sustainable shucking. Hapa-fans will be happy to know that the Hapa Hour (5.30pm - 6.30pm) will feature oysters for $1.49 along with half-price tapas. [Eaterwire]
