DOWNTOWN— Molecular gastronomy mega-chef, Ferran Adrià will be in Vancouver on March 8 to launch his new seven volume collection of books elBulli: 2005-2011. The Vancouver Club is hosting two events around this, a cava reception and lecture and an intimate after-party for just 30 lucky (and loaded) guests. City chefs cooking for the reception and afterparty include Angus An of Maenam, Frank Pabst of the Blue Water Cafe and Vikram Vij. Tickets for the lecture start at $700 - which includes a copy of the seven volume collection.
