Blue Water Cafe Unsung Heroes Festival

It's the 10th anniversary of Yaletown's Blue Water Cafe's "Unsung Heroes" festival this month. The festival, the creation of chef Frank Pabst, champions sustainable seafood delicacies such as sturgeon liver mousse, jellyfish and gooseneck barnacles which don't tend to be on Vancouver's Most Wanted list - but after trying them, really should be,
It's fair to say that sea cucumbers are perhaps not the most photogenic of seafoods, but Eater photographer Robyn Hanson gamely got them ready for their close-up when she dropped by before service to capture the kitchen team in prep mode.
