What is it with Vancouver restaurant critics and sausages? Last week Alexandra Gill raved about Bestie and this week Mia Stainsby is praising Pourhouse's bangers and mash. Along with her celebration sausage fest, Stainsby also like the grilled cheese which "asks for a lot of real estate in the stomach" the bone marrow is "oh so yummy' and finds an apple tart "seduces completely." Less impressive is "heavy salting" on the trout and the inconsistency of seating heights. 3.5 stars. [Vancouver Sun]
