WEST END —No more will Rogers Arena ring to the battle cry of 'Luuuu!' however, those already missing everyone's favourite/most hated netminder can make for Score on Davie and glug a Luongo; a potent love-it-or-hate-it blend of a double Caesar garnished with pepperoni, chorizo, pepperoncinis, bocconcini and onion rings. YALETOWN — Eater contributor, writer, editor, chocolate educator and all-round good-egg, Eagranie Yuh is launching her book, the Chocolate Tasting Kit, published by Chronicle Books, on March 20 at Xoxolat. Tickets are free, so come, buy her book, eat some chocolate and cheer along an Eater-ite. [Eaterwire]

MOUNT PLEASANT — Chef Andrea Carlson of Burdock & Co and Matt Sherlock of Sedimentary Wines are throwing a four-course, 20 seat-only, tasting dinner paired with orange wines. What are orange wines? Apparently: "Orange wines are created using ancient traditional techniques not commonly used in modern times; in a method usually reserved for red wines, white grapes are macerated and allowed to sit in their skins for a fortnight or more, resulting in wines with complex flavour, rich texture and glowing with a warm copper hue." Now you know. Tickets are $130 per person including tax and gratuity. [Eaterwire]
