Should we be worried? This week there is yet another glowing review from Alexandra Gill. Has she put down the knife for good or is she saving up her trademark vitriol for a super-savaging? This time she's drooling over barbecue at Eater 38 newbie, Buckstop on Denman calling it a 'Gastown-style bar that's even cooler because it's not." Pulled pork is 'tender with a toothsome chew' thanks, apparently because 'Buckstop thickly pulls its butt into fat strands.' (Is that even legal?). She says their 'smoky, home-style fare is cooked with pride and care' and awards the team 2.5/4. [
