Bedouin Cabaret at Nuba; Wild Rice Summer Schedule

KITSILANO— Jazz is making a return to Kits, thanks to Nuba and the launch of Bedouin Cabaret, an event series featuring "world class music and dance coupled with outstanding food and drinks." Jazz and world music virtuoso, Juno-nominated Gordon Grdina will be playing along with performances from the Luciterra Fusion Bellydance company, MC'd by El Gar Zaid every Thursday for six weeks starting on May 22 and concluding on July 3. NEW WEST— Wild Rice has changed its opening hours for summer and is now open Sundays for lunch and dinner 11:30 a,m. through 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursday: 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. (lunch) and 5 – 9 p.m. (dinner), Fridays and Saturdays: 11:30 a.m. –10 p.m. (straight through).
