PORTLAND— Three exciting openings in Portland this week, all from faces already familiar in the city's restaurant scene. Chef Oswaldo Bibiano opened the second location of his taquiza Uno Mas, offering two crucial new menu items at restaurant #2: a full bar and breakfast tacos. On the east side, German beer aficionado Dan Hart (owner of popular watering holes Prost! and Interurban) toasted the debut of Stammtisch, a beer hall pouring some German beers otherwise unattainable in the U.S. And finally, SE Hawthorne Boulevard got its own outpost of Blue Star Donuts, whose glazed-to-order doughnuts are also now available in vegan form. SEATTLE—Ethan Stowell's restaurant roster hit double digits this week with the launch of Chippy's, a new seafood spot in Ballard.
