New Cocktails at Main's Shameful Tiki Room; Chinatown Dumpling Fest Date Announced

MAIN STREET— The Shameful Tiki Room has a few brand spanking-new cocktails on their list, a few long-lost Tiki classics as well as original inventions from head bartender Shea Hogan. Go old-school with a Trader Vics 1950's VooDoo Grog or new-wave with Shea's Lorelei. [Eaterwire]

CHINATOWN— Save the date: the Bao Bei and Chinatown Festival Golden Dumpling Cook Off has been set for August 10. This will be the second annual celebration, last year 2700 were dumplings served, in an intense competition between some of Vancouver's top restaurants including Cibo, Chambar, La Mezcaleria and Wildebeest.
