Night at the Aquarium; Et Tu Pop-Up Restaurant

STANLEY PARK— There are a few tickets still available for Night at the Aquarium, one of the city's most anticipated fundraising galas with all proceeds going directly to support Vancouver Aquarium research, conservation and education programmes. Ocean wise restaurants including Araxi, Blue Water, YEW and Miku along with wineries including the Meyer Family, Road 13 and Tantalus will be serving and pouring all night. CAMBIE CORRIDOR — Get into the world cup spirit at the 39th & Cambie Signature BC Liquor Store on Saturday June 21 with a sampling of Italian wines matched with Italian cheeses and meats from 12-4p.m. Free of charge. [EW]

SOMEWHERE IN THE CITY— Support accessible arts in Vancouver and have a seasonal six course dinner too at Et Tu, a two nights-only pop-up to benefit Mnemonic Theatre Productions. Chef Max Straczek will present a menu of "the best British Columbia has to offer" along with optional wine pairings from sommelier Chase MacLeod, decor and original art from Katie Rose Mackenzie. Tickets are an $80 donation per person which includes a six course dinner and additional petit fours, wine pairings are available for an extra $28. Special gifts for reservations of 4 or more. [EW]
