Rare $25,000 Louis XIII Cognac Event; North Van's District Brasserie Now Open for Lunch

CAMBIE CORRIDOR — The BC Liquor store kitchen at 39th and Cambie is hosting a special release event on Thursday 26 from 4-5p.m. for Louis XIII Jeroboam Cognac from Rémy Martin. There will be only one bottle (valued at $25,000) available for purchase within all BC Liquor Stores. In the event there is more than one interested party, a draw will be conducted at the conclusion of the seminar.  This private seminar led by a Rémy Martin Brand Ambassador will feature tastings of Rémy Martin X.O. and V.S.O.P. along with Piper-Heidseick Champagne. Tickets are $15 and are available at the 39th & Cambie Customer Service desk or reserve by email. [EW]

NORTH VAN — After renovation work, the District Brasserie in North Van is now open for lunch from 11a.m. Monday-Friday and at 10a.m. for weekend brunch. The menu will be the same for lunch and dinner, serving Ocean Wise sustainable seafood plus favourites like the No.13 burger. [EW]
