GASTOWN— Hot on the heels of Wildebeest launching a new slushee flavour, Blacktail Florist's downstairs bar, Kanaka just started pumping slush too. They're opening summer service with a lemon, lime, apricot and rum blend.[Instagram]

FALSE CREEK — Vancouver's Food Cart Fest is back from Sunday June 22 from 12-5p.m. throughout the summer at 215 West 1st Ave between Cambie Street Bridge and the Olympic Village. Some 20 food carts will get together, along with DJs, craft vendors, live music, kids activities and more. [EW]
