Go-Go Bungalow Launches at Main St's Shameful Tiki; Temper Pastry Extends Hours

SALT SPRING ISLAND — Hastings House is hosting another in its Chefs Across the Water dining series on Monday 16 with Mission Hill's Executive Winery Chef Chris Stewart joins the kitchen team at Hastings House lead by 5-star Chef Marcel Kauer. Tickets are $100.00 plus $40.00 for wine pairings. Seating is limited to only 60 guests per dinner. [EW]

DOWNTOWN — London's Mahiki Club is coming to Vancouver for a pop-up at Republic to launch CÎROC coconut. Le Beat Tropique has a VIP opening tonight then will continue all weekend with Mahiki's bar manager, Georgi Radev mixing up CÎROC cocktail specials. Guest DJs will be playing on Friday ($18) and Saturday ($20) and the weekend winds up with the usual Good Life Sunday hip-hop session featuring Son Real ($15). [EW]

MAIN STREET — Celebrate car-free day on Main by walking over to the Shameful Tiki Room which opens at noon for specials all day, building to the main event at 8pm - the launch of the Go-Go Bungalow featuring three fabulous go-go dancers. No cover charge. [EW]

WEST VAN — Dundarave's Temper Pastry is extending its hours and menu from tomorrow. Service will run until 9p.m. each Friday and Saturday with charcuterie plates from neighbours Sebastian & Co. on offer along with BC wines and craft beers. [EW]
