Meatapalooza: Brewery and the Beast 2014

So much meat. So very, very much meat. Good times under the blazing sun this weekend at a sold-out Brewery and the Beast with a crowd of 1,200 people enjoying the city's most popular meat-fest. Dozens of Vancouver's finest restaurants bought their A-game to the grill with the likes of Hawksworth and Araxi throwing down alongside Maenam, Chicha and Pidgin. Major props go to the crew at Mamie Taylor's for tracking down a goat (surprisingly tricky during Ramadan), for Merchant's Oyster Bar for tempting people into trying compressed pig's head, Two Rivers for delighting crowds with their bone-in Tomahawk steaks and Peckinpah for being first to sell out.
Tickets for the Victoria B&TB have already sold out - but - sign up to their mailing list as they usually release a further batch of tickets a few days before the event. Come now for a photo essay of the day by Eater photographer Robyn Hanson. · Brewery and the Beast [Official Site]
