Left Bank Opens in West End

Renovation is not quite complete (the new windows are coming later in the week) at the new Left Bank restaurant on Denman (new incarnation of Le Parisien) but they opened on Saturday night anyway. Think French bistro classics 'kissed by the colonies' so, black sesame pomme frites, fresh figs with cumin walnuts and lamb tagine. In the kitchen, executive chef, Spencer Watts is currently doing double duty at Left Bank and their sister-restaurant in Kits, Bistro Pastis.
