Cocktail Art!; City Chefs Join Montreal and Toronto's Finest for Hawksworth Young Chef Scholarship

DOWNTOWN— Studio 40 at CBC Studios will be transformed on Sunday 21 from 8p.m. till midnight into Cocktail Art! an innovative design-meets-amazing-cocktails event with "extraordinary tablescapes created by acclaimed interior designers, hors d'oeuvres from Culinary Capers and designer molecular mixology concocted by Absolut Brand Ambassador Jacob Sweetapple and his all star bar team." RICHMOND— The third annual Best Catch Sustainable Seafood Festival hosted by the Gulf of Georgia Cannery is back on Sunday from 11a.m. This is a free community event with cooking demonstrations from chefs including Chris Whittaker from Forage and Robert Clark from The Fish Counter, plus live performances, food tastings and more. DOWNTOWN— Join six of Canada's best chefs including David Hawksworth, Normand Laprise from Toque!, Montreal and Anthony Walsh from Canoe, Toronto for a fundraising dinning to benefit the Hawksworth Young Chef scholarship on Sunday September 28, from 5:00p.m. to late at Hawksworth restaurant. Reservations are only being taken by calling 604.673.7000. Seats are $140 for the six course menu, or $218 for dinner with wine pairings, selected by Hawksworth Restaurant's wine team. [EW]
