Could Alex Gill's brutal thwack of a review in the Globe and Mail for the Blackbird have knocked the Donnelly Group's enthusiasm to focus on seasonal locavore cooking? Rumour has it that they have bought the rights to represent cheap and cheerful pizza chain, Boston Pizza in downtown Vancouver which would give them three more locations.
